The showcase property designed by 1.61 London sits in the most prime area of London between Park Lane and Oxford street. The property contains some of the best finishes from around the globe brought together by the 1.61 London team. To achieve such a unique and luxurious interior design result the team created special collaborations with the best brands in the world including:
The dining room sits opposite the kitchen section, perfect for functionality in the area. We wanted the backdrop of the dining table to refract and reflect the light and the symmetry of the kitchen elevation. We created joinery pieces to the backdrop of the dining area for added storage. The mirrored clad walnut doors in the centre perfectly line up with the two central glass duo sync doors. The two side walnut cupboard doors, with 100mm sections of textured mirror and wallpaper centres, line up perfectly with the onyx pieces. This give breath taking view points for both the dining table area and the kitchen.
The diamond theme took shape with a diagonal mirror clad wall as its central feature with sweeping triple pleated, Italian strung curtains to each side, centring this feature. A ceiling LED lit atrium sits centred to the mirror clad wall with a diamond shaped silver leaf hanging pendant, made from silk, which perfectly assimilates the shapes of its backdrop.
A full height headboard with double borders and a deep buttoned upholstery centre echoes the exact measurement of the TV wall opposite. Panelling and dado rails are introduced in this space. Instead of full panelling across the whole room, we cut out sections of the skirting and dado rail and introduce full height vertical architraves which border antique mirror infills. These pieces are symmetrically placed in four places in the bedroom. Two either side of the headboard wall and two either side of the TV wall marking the start and cessation of the panelling. The mirrored TV looks classical, but when switched on, turns into a beautiful modern feature.
